Kathy Ramboni

Kathy works as Coordinator, Events and Special Projects at Finance Montreal. 

Prior to joining Finance Montreal, Kathy worked in corporate communications at NATIONAL, one of Canada's largest public relations firms. Her clients came from a variety of industries including technology, agri-food, education, transportation, non-profit organizations and the public sector. Previously, she also served as political attaché to the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Member of Parliament. Kathy provided political representation for the Member of Parliament at social events, monitored and analyzed government policy and the media, and led the development of relationships with local organizations in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. 

Kathy has extensive international experience, particularly in Asia. In 2020, she interned as a program assistant at CityNet Secretariat in South Korea. Piloted by the UNESCAP and UN-Habitat, CityNet is the largest association of urban actors engaged in sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region. Kathy has also worked in a private company in Japan, where she taught Business Conversational English to Japanese people for a year. 

In her spare time, Kathy sits on the Public Affairs - Government Relations Committee of the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal (JCCM). 

Kathy holds a Bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies and Political Science from McGill University. She is fluent in French, English and Spanish. She is currently learning Japanese and Mandarin.
